    Dr. Marco STRACCIA is the founder of FRESCI and CEO of SCIENCE&STRATEGY SL; he is a former associate professor and researcher in Stem Cell Technology and Regenerative Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Barcelona. He holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience (Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain; 2012), a M.B.A. (Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya; 2018); a M.S. in International Health and Tropical Medicine (Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Spain; 2008) and a B.S. in Biology (Universitá  degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”; 2005). Dr. STRACCIA has eight years of international project manager experience in projects of different sizes. He has been a researcher for the last eighteen years in the field of basic and applied biomedicine in many institutions in Europe and working on different experimental paradigms. He has a deep experience in cellular neuroscience, stem cell biology and has developed advanced in vitro models for high-throughput drug discovery, safety testing and disease modelling. I managed several graduate, master and PhD students, couching them through the difficult pathway of decision-making scientific career.
