Description

Rachid obtained his M.D. in 2003, in Brazil, and his Ph.D. in Oncogenetics in 2008, at University of Porto, Portugal. He did his postdoctoral studies at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) from 2009 to 2014. Rachid moved out of academia in 2014, when he joined Ambry Genetics, a leading genetic diagnostic laboratory in the United States. At Ambry, Rachid is the Director of the Ambry’s Translational Genomics (ATG) Lab, where he leads a team of scientists working with translational research.
