From 2015/2016 Filipa worked as the Advanced Training officer at Instituto de Medicina Molecular (iMM), where she managed the advanced training programmes. In 2016 she was the pioneer in Portugal in career support to life science researchers. She is the founder of “Ciência Clara - Creative solutions to empower scientists”, where she works as a consultant and lecturer in STEM Education, Science Writing and Career Development.
