If you are looking for advice on transitioning to research management, strategy and international scientific cooperation roles, I can help. I'm a research manager with over 15 years of experience working in international research cooperation and institutional strategy. I've also hired into many roles at different levels of research management, so I have a broad overview of recruitment, application, and interview processes, as well as development. Previously, I was Head of Director's Office at the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and worked in the International Research Cooperation Unit at the University of Tübingen in Germany. I'm now a freelance consultant for research organisations and universities in the fields of international cooperation and institutional strategy, and head the International Office at the Instituto Biofisika in Bilbao, Spain. I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and an MBA in Management of Research Infrastructures from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy.
